Northeast Travis County Democrats
Monthly Meeting

The last Tuesday of every month from 6:30-9 pm.
North Rural Community Center in Pflugerville
15822 Foothills Farms Loop (across 1825 from Springhill Restaurant, behind Lamb's Automotive)

The room we have reserved is also used for early voting. For February 2010, due to early voting, our meeting will not start until the last voter has voted (usually around 7:10 p.m. )

On Thursday, January 28, 2010 at 6:00 p.m., a candidate forum will be held at the Milienium Youth Entertainment Complex at 1156 Hargrave in Austin. Our club is a sponser of this forum, and we will have a candidate endorsement meeting following the forum. Please plan on attending the forum and participating in this important activity. Remember that you must be current on your Netco Dems membership dues for 2010 to be eligible to vote in club business. If you haven't had a chance to renew, plan on doing so at the January meeting on the 26th.Please send an RSVP to  Dave Taylor and let me know if you are or aren't coming to the forum. 


2nd Saturday Coffee Meeting

We hold our monthly coffee meetings at the Blue Marble Java coffee house at 1912 West Pecan between Volvo Rents and the Sonic.  We meet there on the 2nd Saturday of every month around 8:30 a.m. for discussion of current events.  


The Public Forum hosts events ranging from the upcoming election considering eleven Texas constitutional amendments to Health Care every Sunday at 11:30 a.m. at the First Unitarian Church of Austin at 4700 Grover Street.  For specific information on the content of these events, consult the Travis County Democratic Party's calendar.


THE PRIMARIES FOR STATE OFFICE WILL BE COMING UP THIS MARCH. PLEASE CONSIDER VOLUNTEERING TO HELP YOUR LOCAL PRECINCT CHAIR. CONTACT DAVE TAYLOR AT 844-1300 FOR INFORMATION ABOUT WHO YOUR CHAIR IS AND WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP ELECT DEMOCRATS TO THE STATE OFFICES.
