DEMOCRATIC PARTY STATE CONVENTION

The Texas Democratic Party State Convention was held on June 25th and 26th in Corpus Christi, Texas. My wife Sharon and I had the priviledge to attend as delegates from our precinct. The convention was inspiring and dynamic with speeches from our statewide candidates from Bill White for Governor to Jeff Weems for Railroad Commissioner. In every race, solid reasons for supporting Democratic candiates over the failed leadership of the Republicans in office were cited. Please take the time now to research these candidates and support them in the fall.

2nd Saturday Coffee Meeting

NEW LOCATION!

The Blue Marble Java Coffee House has closed. We will begin meeting at the Starbucks on FM 685 for our future meetings. Come join us around 9:00 a.m. to discuss the current political situation over coffee.

The Public Forum hosts events every Sunday at 11:30 a.m. at the First Unitarian Church of Austin at 4700 Grover Street. For specific information on the content of these events, consult the Travis County Democratic Party's calendar.
